TERMS OF BUSINESS

WARRANTY (LIMITED TO MANUFACTURING DEFECTS)

Leather Products: Warranty limited to a maximum of 1 year from our invoice date; and/or a maximum of 6 months from the date of resale by our customer; whichever occurs first. No wear and tear claims beyond above period.

Case Goods: Any hidden defects/damages MUST be notified within 7 days of end-user purchase, accompanied by photographic evidence. Self-assembly breakages/damages and “wear and tear” excluded from warranty.

Clear-Outs: No warranties; all sales will be deemed to be final.

Discontinued Items: All warranties as per leather products. No claims for replacement parts.

Replacement Parts: All replacement parts will be dispatched with customers’ subsequent order or customer can arrange for pickup. All urgent request or dispatch will be sent on “collect basis”. After the expiration of warranty, no claims/request will be entertained.
In case of all warranty claims, Brassex Inc reserves the right to have the items repaired or replaced. All warranty claims MUST be accompanied by photograph/s of the subject item/s.

By Telephone or Fax: Call 905-362-5555 to place an order, check the status of your order or any other queries. Our friendly customer service team is available Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Alternatively: Fax your order toll free to 1.888.BRASSEX. A customer service representative will contact you should there be any problems. Please ensure that your customer number and phone number are included.

Back Orders: Although we try to maintain adequate stocks of each item, at times this is not possible We keep all back orders on our system and ship as they are available. If your back order is over one month old, we will call prior to shipping it. If you do not wish your back orders to be kept, please inform us.

Terms: Net terms are available only after first three orders. All requests for terms must accompany our new account form completed in full. Brassex Inc monitors credit worthiness of all customers. All payment terms MUST be strictly adhered to maintain the credit facility. Brassex Inc. reserves the right to cancel any deliquent accounts and place them with collection agencies

Late Fees: Overdue invoices will incur a service charge of 2% per month, but not in excess of the legal maximum.

NSF Cheques: If we have received N.S.F. cheque, all future orders will be shipped only after full payment is received in advance. Brassex Inc. will be entitled to charge $35.00 service charge for all N.S.F. cheques.

Shipping Holds: If your account is past due or exceeds your credit limit, your orders will be placed on shipping hold until payment arrangements have been made with our credit department.

Shipping Info: Should you wish to nominate a carrier of your choice, please advise us at the time of placing your order. We will send the goods freight collect or for billing against your account directly.

Direct Shipments: : If you order large quantities of merchandise on a factory direct basis, we can offer FOB, CIF or DDP freight terms.

Damages & Shortages: In case of damages or short shipment, please contact a customer service representative within 48 hours at 905-362-5555. Brassex Inc will replace or credit your account for the damages or shortage at our discretion.

Returns: Brassex stands behind all products sold. Should you be not happy with any product ordered, please return it to us within 30 days for a full credit. Call our customer service representative for an RA number. Returns will not be accepted without a proper RA number. Only freight must be prepaid. Goods must be returned in resalable condition and in their original packaging. Any marks or price stickers must be removed prior to return or be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.
